Acceptable Use Policy

1. About this policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the standards that apply when you use https://mediconnex.com.cn (the "Website") or interact with MediConnex HongKong Limited ("MediConnex", "we") through any of our communication channels. It forms part of our Terms of Use.

Legal entity (full details): MediConnex HongKong Limited (Traditional Chinese: 四海雲醫香港有限公司). Hong Kong Business Registration Number: 80524054. Company type: Private Company Limited by Shares. Date of incorporation: 2 June 2026. Current status: Live (still registered).

By using the Website you agree to comply with this AUP. Breach may result in suspension or termination of your access and, in serious cases, civil or criminal proceedings.

2. Who this applies to

This AUP applies to everyone who uses the Website, including: - prospective clients browsing the site; - registered clients submitting information or attending consultations; - members of the public reading our public content (blog, videos, FAQs); - visitors, journalists, researchers, and competitors.

3. Prohibited use

You must not use the Website, or any of our communication channels:

3.1 In any unlawful way

3.2 To submit harmful content

3.3 To misrepresent identity or information

3.4 To interfere with the Website or our infrastructure

3.5 To re-use content unlawfully

3.6 To circumvent regulation

4. User-generated content (testimonials, reviews, communications)

If we ever allow you to post content on the Website (reviews, testimonials, photos, comments) — or if you send us such content for use in our marketing — you must: - only post content that is your own original work, or for which you have all necessary rights and consents; - not post content that breaches section 3 above; - not post any other person's personal data (including identifying details, health information, or photographs) without that person's explicit consent; - accept that we may edit content for length, clarity, or compliance, and that we may decline to publish any content at our discretion.

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant MediConnex a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable (to the extent permitted by law), sub-licensable, transferable, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt, translate, modify, anonymise, and publish that content in any media for the operation and promotion of our Services, including in marketing materials, case studies, social media, and press releases. We may, but are not required to, credit you.

You may at any time request that we stop using the content in new materials by emailing info@mediconnex.com.cn; we will do so within a reasonable time, but we are not required to retract, recall, or remove any content already published, printed, or distributed. Where personal data is involved, your right to withdraw consent under the Privacy Policy is preserved — we will then anonymise or redact personal identifiers in new uses, but the underlying contractual licence over the non-personal content survives.

5. Reporting misuse

If you become aware of any conduct that breaches this AUP, please report it to info@mediconnex.com.cn with as much detail as you can safely share. We treat reports confidentially where possible.

For suspected illegal content involving the safety of children, please also report to the relevant child-safety hotline in your country of residence (for example, the Internet Watch Foundation in the UK at https://www.iwf.org.uk, or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the US).

6. What we will do if you breach this AUP

We assess each breach on its facts. Possible responses include: - a written warning; - temporary or permanent suspension of your access to the Website or your account; - termination of any Concierge Agreement (with refund consequences set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy); - disclosure to law enforcement or to a regulator (where required by law or in our reasonable judgement); - civil proceedings (including for damages and costs); - criminal complaint where the conduct may constitute a criminal offence under any applicable criminal law (including computer-misuse and cybercrime laws in Hong Kong, your country of residence, or any other relevant jurisdiction).

7. Limits of our monitoring

We are not required to monitor user content or communications in real time and we do not promise to do so. Where we become aware of a breach we will act in a manner proportionate to the breach and to our legal duties.

We may keep logs of access to the Website (IP, timestamp, requested URL) for security and audit purposes. See Privacy Policy for retention.

8. Changes to this AUP

We may update this AUP. Material changes will be highlighted on the Website. Your continued use after the effective date amounts to acceptance.
